I am a graphic artist at a local ad agency which really supports men with facial hair and head hair.
Bend is a beard-friendly town, in a very beard-friendly state.
Living in a high-altitude area with 4 seasons makes having a beard really a practical thing to do.
I plan on going for the terminal length, but am only 8 months into it. Gray hair and beard may add years to my look, but I am enjoying the whole journey. I am inspired by the many other FULL beards on this site, and in person, they are even more impressive. The longer mine has gotten, the less flack I have gotten, and it has become a non-issue.
I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible at the upcoming Nationals in Bend!
