David Traver's huge, full beard won him the world championship in the full beard natural category
and third-place overall at the WBMC 2003 in Carson City.
He sat out Berlin, but took third in the full beard, styled moustache division in Brighton.
Before making it to the worlds, Traver was already a successful beard champion, winning the title of Mr. Fur Face at the annual Miners' and Trappers' Ball in his hometown of Anchorage, Alaska in 2000. He repeated his Mr. FF wins in 2004, 2006, and 2007. He is also the president of the South Central Alaska Beard and Moustache Club, the host for the next WBMC 2009 in Anchorage.
