At the time of this picture Devin Cara shaved every day, rocking the bald-head, full-beard look like no one else.

Devin took advantage of the BTUSA trip to Brighton to propose marriage to Kelly. She said yes. The founder and self-appointed Captain of Beard Team USA performed their wedding. Awww.

Cara is known for his all-over beard. He has been known to strip naked, or nearly naked, on stage just to win a beard contest. This tactic may have figured in to his impressive third place win at the First Ever Beard Team USA National Beard and Moustache Championships in Bend, Oregon in 2010. At the 2011 worlds in Norway, he managed to remain fully clothed and took third in Garibaldi, showing skeptics that Bend was no fluke.
