Thompson hails from Joyce, Washington, home of the almost world famous Joyce Daze Wild Blackberry Festival and Beard Contest held every August.
Guy has participated in every World Beard and Moustache Championships since Carson City in 2003. In 2007 in England, he podiumed in the natural goatee category. They just didn’t give him a trophy.
