Jack Passion, American beardsman extraordinare, took the bearding world by storm when he podiumed as a 21-year-old rookie in the full beard natural category, by far the most competitive category of all, at the 2005 World Beard and Moustache Championships in Berlin, Germany. Most of the beards were older than Jack himself. Passion has never looked back.
He took first place in the same category at the WBMC’s in Brighton, England, in 2007 and in Anchorage, Alaska in 2009. He is the current European Champion (Leogang, Austria 2010) and the current International German Champion (Stuttgart 2011) as well. At the recent worlds in Norway, Passion took second to a member of the Whisker Club. Four of the judges in Norway were also Whisker Club members.
Passion also served as host for the First Ever Beard Team USA National Beard and Moustache Championships in Bend, Oregon in 2010.
After his first win, Passion wrote The Facial Hair Handbook. The book is a fun and informative read for any man looking for tips on how to grow a beard, shape facial hair styles, stop your beard from itching, or even get a close shave.

With a beard like that, and a name like Jack Passion, he could take over the world.
Congrats Jack on your achievement. I take a great sense of camaraderie and honor in both of us having won the full beard natural category. It was an honor hosting you in Anchorage. All our best in you future endeavors and above all keep it real.

Nice meet’n ya in Bend, OR.
Groovy muchacho!! Hoping to see some more length myself and wonder (seriously) how to keep split ends away? Do we cut them off or let them just divide our whiskers in two??
doobie seems like a very secure, intelligent and mature person. Grow up, dude.
Jack, it will be good to see you again and as host this time. I almost forgot to register for the event but have it all done, ready for a fun time in Bend. I was thinking of going freestyle at this event but then thought as a World Champion that I should compete in partial beard category.

JACK SHOULD BE A ROCK STAR!!!!!!!!!!!
loving the REDNESSSSS
Have had mine growing for a couple of years but it stopped growing after about 18 months. How do you encourage it to continue to grow. Very impressive, especially for a 25 year old. I’m double your age. Couldn’t grow a beard until I was about 22.
You inspire me!
Facial hair is all i want in life… yet, alas… my face has grown weary! I am barren and have infertile folicals
Now, that’s a set of respectable whiskers!
Have you ever tied them in a bow on top of your head? I have to be many beers in before I will! Yours is definitely thicker, though, I will check your book for care tips as I mistreat mine.
Jack Passion is a rock star! I’ve seen him play the bass live back in Santa Cruz, CA.

Sweet beard, but does it ever feel like it’s just a “thing”, and not an existence. I mean… you won the world championship, right? What else is there? I just wonder what motivates you beyond that…
