Neil Moherman attributes the success of his beard to clean living, eating all of his vegetables, and exposure to fertilizer on his family’s farm. A career change in early 2011 brought Neil’s beard out of the lab and into the sunlight (something beards rarely see). As a result, Neil’s beard transformed into the beautiful blond mane that he sports today.

In 2009, Moherman made his first appearance in competitive bearding in the World Beard and Moustache Championships in Alaska competing in the Garibaldi category. Since that time, Neil has competed exclusively in Full Beard Natural. He won first place in the 2010 Charm City Beard and Mustache Championships. Still a relatively new face in beard competitions, Neil hopes that his glorious blond beard will take the world by storm.
