Chevalier to Compete at Nats!

Willi Chevalier

World famous international bearding superstar Willi Chevalier has announced plans to compete in the BTUSA National Beard and Moustache Championships in Bend, Oregon on June 5.  This will be Chevalier’s first North American appearance.

Willi missed the worlds in Carson City after an unfortunate encounter with a power drill and had to miss Anchorage for unspecified personal reasons. His creation, once dubbed a “hair pretzel” by NPR’s Robert Siegel, has enabled him to build a long resume of big wins at numerous world, European, and German national championships.

Willi lives in Sigmaringen, Germany, home of Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, who is the first in the line of succession to the throne of Romania.
