Membership in Beard Team USA is open to everyone. There are no dues, no applications, and no acceptance process. You don’t even need to have a beard or moustache to join; you just need to support America’s facial hair team, and facial hair in general. Sign up with your name, location, and email address and you’re a member of the team. It’s that easy.

    In the best tradition of the American Spirit we can organize to form a very competitive group for world beard competitions. The Alaska event was a very good example of how we could make a great contribution to these hairy championships!

    Does anyone know if the parade and/or final competition will be video -taped? Or if it will just be local media that’s fine with me but mom’s been taggin’ at my shirt and leaving me messages…she said they cover so many really SILLY sports on her TV we should get a small slot somewhere! Beards take alot of endurance and training!
