2012 Nationals set for Vegas!

The 2012 Beard Team USA National Beard and Moustache Championships presented by Panasonic will take place on Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Note that Veteran’s Day will be observed on Monday, November 12.

    Is there a set location within Las Vegas? Somewhere on the strip I would think? We’re all booked up and waiting for Nov. 11!!!

    The categories are those used developed by the German groups and used for the world championships. The location hasn’t bee set yet, so stay tuned.

    Phil, can you provide a link to the list and descriptions of the categories? I know you said they’ll be the same as those used at the international level, but for us technophobes, can you direct us to a website that has a good, comprehensive list, please?

    Hi, I have a Verdi, and would love to enter a competition. do i have to sign up or something or do i just show up at the event and go from there. plus is there a vegas chapter? if not i may have to grab some bearded fellows and start one.

    Costumes are not part of the judging criteria, but I am sure a good costume helps.

    Can spectators buy tickets at the event, or must we purchase them beforehand?
