Beard Team USA, Nationals in New York Times

Scooping other national media, the New York Times, has broken the story about the Second Annual BTUSA National Beard and Moustache Championships taking place in Lancaster, Pennsylvania next fall. Read the full story.

The Times’ feature on Beard Team USA and the Nats also hypes a different sporting event that will take place this weekend in Dallas and will feature the beard Brett Keisel is growing for America and Pittsburgh. Keisel will be playing on the same side of the line bearded Ben Roethlisberger, tempting Beard Team USA to abandon its traditional neutrality on such matters as over-hyped football games. On the other hand Aaron Rodgers is also growing a beard for America, albeit a cheesy one.
