Beard Team USA will hold its HUGE pep rally in front of the Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim, Norway at 11 am on May 15, 2011, shortly before the start of the World Beard and Moustache Championships.The Cathedral is built over the grave of St. Olav, the patron saint of Norway. Construction of the Cathedral started in 1070, but the oldest parts still in existence are from the middle of the 12th century. Since 1164 most Norwegian kings have been crowned there. It is also the sight of royal weddings in Norway, most recently the wedding of Princess Märtha Louise to Ari Behn in 2002. Go USA!
